Toyologist Reviewy Tomy Aquadoodle - DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo

On one of those RARE occassions the other day Savana managed to try out TOMY's Aquadoodle
in the garden. When she was 1 1/2 Savana had the original aquadraw which she loved. The bonus for parents is that it is mess free!
Since the first Aquadoodle came along there have been numerous versions and naturally markets have tailored around KEY marketable characters such as Thomas The Tank Engine.
So why ANOTHER ONE? I ask you cry???????????????? The one we trialed was the TOMY AQUADOODLE ANIMAL MAGIC SOUNDS which retails at £24.99
As an ex-primary teacher the first thing i noticed is that there is only one pen! With an older sibling (age 6) Savana takes great delight in doing things LIKE her older sister and this did not enable her too.
So what makes this one different? You add batteries to pen and then can encourage your child to interact and learn about different animals and the sounds they make. As you use the pen on the mat and press the pen it triggers off the sounds. At age 31/2 I would say the sound affects are lost on her but for a younger child 1 1/2 + I think they would really enjoy it.
Savana would give this 6 out of 10 forher age but 8 out of 10 for younger children.
